La Jolla Music Society organizes an annual calendar of dinners, receptions, and
galas in support of its programs.
Intermission Receptions
Members of the Major Donor Society (contributors of $5,000 and above) are invited to enjoy complimentary refreshments and light appetizers during Intermission at each performance in the Revelle Chamber Music Series and Frieman Family Piano Series in the Museum Café and at each performance of the Celebrity Series in the Revelle Room.
Corporate Receptions
These cultivation events help introduce new business executives to La Jolla Music Society and at the same time allow attendees to network. Corporate receptions usually take the form of pre- or post-concert cocktail receptions.
House Concerts
House Concerts are held in beautiful private homes belonging to friends of La Jolla Music Society. With only 20 to 30 guests, House Concerts are unique cultivation events which include a short 30-minute performance followed by dinner. Of this year’s House Concerts, one is reserved for Medallion Society members and one for La Jolla Music Society Board of Directors.
Board Emeritus Luncheons
La Jolla Music Society reaches out to former Board members through lunchtime events. Former Board members will receive periodic invitations to events so that they may reconnect with the Society.
