Ray Nowak is a founding member of the San Diego-based brass quintet Presidio Brass. He has performed
with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the
London Philharmonic, the Pacific
Symphony Orchestra and the San Diego Symphony. He is also currently a member of the Santa Barbara Symphony and the California Philharmonic. Ray was Assistant Principal Trumpet of the
Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife for five years in the Canary Islands. He holds
degrees from California State University Long Beach and UCLA.
