Grammy®-nominated bassist Mark Dresser is an internationally recognized
performer, improviser, composer and interdisciplinary collaborator. He
has appeared in over one hundred recordings including nearly thirty CDs
and has performed with groups led by Osvaldo Golijov, John Zorn and
Dawn Upshaw. He is a Professor of Music at the University of
California, San Diego and has been a lecturer at Princeton University.
He is on the board of directors of the International Society of
Bassists.
