Margaret Batjer made her solo debut with the Chicago Symphony at age 15. Since then, she has been re-engaged by the Chicago Symphony and performed with the Philadelphia and New York String Seminar Orchestras. She has also appeared as a soloist throughout Europe with groups including the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and the Halle Symphony Orchestra at the Gewandhaus. Ms. Batjer has served as Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra since 1998, and in 2005, she joined the faculty of the University of Southern California‘s Thornton School of Music. |
