A winner of the 1994 Tchaikovsky International Violin Competition,
Jennifer Koh dazzles audiences with playing that combines intensity of
temperament with a patrician poise and elegance. Her 2007-08 season
included performances with the Detroit Symphony, Los Angeles
Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra; and she appears frequently
at major music centers and festivals including Carnegie Hall, the
Kennedy Center, Marlboro, Ravinia and Schleswig-Holstein. A graduate of
Oberlin College and The Curtis Institute, Ms. Koh plays a 1727
Ex-Grumiaux Ex-General DuPont Stradivari, made available to her through
the generosity of a private sponsor.
