A winner of the Concert Artists Guild award and bronze medalist at the
1977 Geneva International Competition, Franck Avril has appeared in
solo recital at Carnegie Hall, the 92nd Street Y and the Guggenheim
Museum. Mr. Avril has appeared with the Vermeer and Colorado string
quartets and held the post of Principal Oboe with the Long Island
Philharmonic.
