Swedish mezzo-soprano Charlotte Hellekant enjoys a career equally successful in both opera and concert. Her extensive operatic repertoire ranges from Cornelia, Ino and Orfeo to Niklausse, Carmen and Charlotte, and she is also highly praised as an interpreter of contemporary roles.

Alongside operatic engagements, Ms. Hellekant is also a highly acclaimed and versatile concert performer. Concert highlights include performances with the NDR Orchesta, Orchestra of Paris, Oslo Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra and the Finnish Radio Symphony. In the current season Ms. Hellekant appears as Nerone/Poppea at the Drottningholm Theatre, will further broaden her repertoire with Klytemnestra in Gluck’s Iphigenie en Aulide at La Monnaie and returns to De Nederlandse Opera as Anna in Les Troyens. Concert appearances include Bluebeard’s Castle with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
