About the Performance:
This program highlights the incredible emotional range of Russian composers. Beginning with Prokofiev’s well-known Melodies for Violin and Piano, the program moves on to features two lesser known gems: Rimsky-Korsakov’s sunny Quintet in B-flat Major and Taneyev’s lush Piano Quintet in G Minor.
