About the Performance:
French composer and jazz legend Jacques Loussier makes his SummerFest
debut. With a remarkable career now spanning more than 40 years,
Loussier is a master of improvisation, and has been called the
"unclassifiable" musician of his generation. His program will showcase
his legendary jazz variations on the classical works of Bach as well as
the world première of his new composition for jazz trio and strings.
