About the Performance:The incredible expressive range of Brahms is the inspiration for the
closing night of the series dedicated to him. This concert celebrates the deeply expressive and
richly-textured works that are Brahms's signature. A special
highlight of the evening will be Brahms’ String Quintet No.1 in F
Major, Opus 88 performed by the Tokyo String Quartet joined by violist and
former SummerFest Artistic Director Heiichiro Ohyama. |
