About the Performance:
This evening focuses on a new facet of inspiration for Brahms,
Schumann’s wife, Clara, for whom Brahms felt a deep, unrequited love.
An accomplished pianist and composer herself, highlights of this
evening will include her work Piano Trio in G Minor along with Brahms’
Scherzo and Robert Schumann’s Intermezzo, both from the FAE Sonata.
